We use donations to sponsor focused one-day permablitzes: a team arrives, installs practical living systems, teaches while we work, and films the transformation so the lessons can travel far beyond the site.
A donation should create more than a once-off installation. We want each intervention to have two lives: the physical system on the ground, and the educational story that shows others how to begin.
The scope changes by site. A permablitz is not a rushed masterplan; it is a tightly chosen intervention with a clear handover, designed around what the people on site can keep alive afterwards.

We look for places where one day can be catalytic: a clear need, people who will care for what is built, and an intervention that can be explained honestly on camera.
The intervention solves a real site problem or creates a resource people will actually use.
There is someone on site who understands the system and will keep it working after the event.
The system is simple enough to explain and repeat: capture water, close an organic loop, grow food, build soil, create shade.
The transformation is legible. People should be able to see what changed and why it matters.
Maslow Foundation has Section 18A approval. For qualifying donations, we can issue a compliant Section 18A receipt with the donor information required for tax purposes.
For a qualifying donation, the receipt records the organisation details, donor details, date received, amount or nature of the donation, and the required Section 18A statement. We also keep an internal donation register and project expenditure trail.
A one-day event ends. A useful explanation does not.
We want the film to show the before, the design decision, the work, the mistakes, the people and the final system clearly enough that someone in another town can understand the logic and try a version of it themselves. No glossy greenwashing. The educational value is the point.
Every site is different, so we do not pretend there is one universal cost split. We scope the actual intervention and make the material and delivery needs visible before a donor commits.
Plants, compost, soil amendments, irrigation and water parts, timber, fixings, labels and site-specific materials.
Transport, preparation, tools, coordination, facilitation, safety and the practical support required on the day.
Filming, editing and educational storytelling so the intervention becomes a public resource rather than disappearing after the event.
You can bring funding, bring a site, bring materials, or bring the local people who will keep the system alive. We will work out whether the pieces fit.
