Nonrenewable Energy

Definition

Energy from sources that cannot be replenished in a human lifetime, such as fossil fuels.

Interpretation

The energy of erosion. Nonrenewables are ancient sunlight, burned too fast. In Pansophia, we use the term to remind ourselves: not all power is worth the cost.

Living Invitation

Observe one nonrenewable energy source in your daily life. Ask: What would it take to replace it with something regenerative?
