Watershed

Definition

Noun

An area of land that channels rainfall and snowmelt into streams and rivers, eventually leading to larger bodies of water.

Interpretation

A living geography of flow. Watersheds remind us that land and water are inseparable, and that what we do upstream ripples outward. To know your watershed is to know where your life drains โ€” and where your responsibility begins.

Living Invitation

Find out what watershed you live in. Trace its path. Who lives downstream from your choices?
