Interoception

Definition

The ability to sense internal bodily states, such as hunger, heartbeat, breath, or emotion.

Interpretation

The forgotten sense. Interoception is the body's inner language โ€” the signal beneath the story. It is how we know when we need water, rest, connection, or space โ€” before the mind gets involved.

Living Invitation

Close your eyes. Can you feel your heartbeat? Your breath? Your gut? Listen in without judgment.
