Neuroception

Neuroception

Definition

The subconscious process by which the nervous system detects cues of safety or danger in the environment.

Interpretation

The body’s sixth sense. Neuroception happens before thought β€” it’s how we know a room feels off, or a touch feels right. It’s not always β€œrational,” but it’s real.

Living Invitation

Notice the felt sense in your body as you enter spaces or meet people today. What is your system picking up before your mind does?
